Clarkson is a 6’5′ point guard born in the Philippines, before spending much of his life in San Antonio. Size, tight ball-handling, and innate ability to get to the basket made him one of the SEC’s best players.
Clarkson didn’t say he grew up as a fan of any NBA team in particular, but admitted he’s always looked up to Kobe Bryant. When asked what came to mind when he thought of the Lakers, he said “winning championships, and great players.” Clarkson does expect to participate in this year’s NBA Summer League. When asked about his strengths, he touted his defense, scoring ability, and versatility. His 6’8 wingspan is definitely a plus on the defensive end
