The story of five-year-old Juliana Wetmore, who suffers from an extreme condition called Treacher Collins syndrome.

Julianna Wetmore was born with a rare genetic craniofacial disorder known as Treacher Collins Syndrome. This condition normally appears as elongated or sagging eyes and small or missing ears and generally affects 1 in 10,000. Not only is this a rare occurrence but, Julianna has perhaps the most severe case ever seen. The condition was first seen during pre-natal scans where doctors thought that she had a cleft palate. However, the full extent of her disfigurement was not seen until she was born.

Treacher Collins Syndrome is a genetic mutation that prevents the proper formation of the skull, cheek and jaw bones. Julianna's case was so severe she required immediate plastic surgery to uncover her left eye and to open up an airway so that she could breathe.

 

Born with Treacher Collins disease and known as the faceless girl, Juliana Wetmore shocked the world not only with her unusual features but most especially her story and how she live day by day showing the world the true meaning beauty.

 

Juliana bravely shows the world herself and mingles with people through sign language. After Juliana Wetmore’s story was featured in international shows, many people around the world sent happiness and kindness to Juliana and her family through letters and gifts.

In the video, a man disguised as a homeless and tried to beg for some alms from people but instead he returned the few pieces of coins and gave $20 to the people who lend him goodness. Of Course, all of them were surprised because they never expect to encounter such act from a homeless person. One old man who gave the “homeless” a pray over was very speechless when his goodness was returned immediately by the “homeless” guy that he met. Actually, it took few seconds for the old man to realize that he’s not dreaming. 

Filipino hairstylist makes cutting-edge difference in New York City

A high-end New York hair stylist is getting even higher marks for giving the cutting-edge look to the homeless.

When Mark Bustos isn’t working at Three Squares Studio — which has been praised in GQ, Details and Vanity Fair — he can be found roaming the city streets, offering sophisticated trims to those who need it most.

 

 

He does the hairstyles of wealthy clients in an upscale salon in New York City, but on Sundays, his only day off, he does it for the homeless.

Mark Bustos, a 30-year-old Filipino-American hairstylist of Three Squares Studio, is making the rounds in social media after a story made by The Huffington Post on his Instagram posts about giving a cutting-edge look to the needy.

 

 Bustos said he’s been offering free haircuts to the poor since a May 2012 trip to his family’s native Philippines, where he temporarily rented a barber's chair to offer his services to underprivileged kids. He meant it, he said, as a tribute to his girlfriend’s late father, who used to get his haircuts at that shop.

 

 

 

Bustos, who kicked off his hairstyling career at age 14 out of his parents' garage, said that he's “never made a penny in my life (that) hasn't had to do with hair.” Although he says he wishes appearances weren't so vital, he notes that people are treated better when their hair is styled neatly.

“I do believe people with a proper, professional haircut receive more respect than those who do not have a proper haircut,” Bustos said. “Having a proper haircut also gives the recipient much more confidence.”

 

Bustos strolls the streets of New York most Sundays to continue the tradition he started in the Philippines and later duplicated in Jamaica, Costa Rica and Los Angeles. He said he also offers food to the people he helps.

 

 

 

 

In another post, Bustos is styling the hair of a woman who’d held a cardboard sign that reads, “Anything will help!” and “Happy Mother’s Day.” In a third post, a man with shaggy hair and a scraggly beard in one frame appears with a neatly parted coif and an even stubble in the second frame. “My parents will be so proud of me when they find out why I’ve been missing Sunday dinners,” reads Bustos’ caption.

 

 The stylist said he can’t believe the story has gone viral.

“It doesn’t feel real,” he added. “All of this was just a simple wish and a dream.”

A group of friends started this social experiment and Kameron Pollock was one of them. He said that it came from an inspiration when he watched a similar video made by Sam Pepper, a YouTube prankster, about a homeless guy sharing his pizza selflessly to a man who he never knows. 

ALS Ice Bucket Challenge of Celebrities

The Ice Bucket Challenge, sometimes called the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, is an activity involving dumping a bucket of ice water on one's head or donating to the ALS Association in the United States. It went viral throughout social media during the Northern Hemisphere summer of 2014. The challenge dares nominated participants to be filmed having a bucket of ice water poured on their heads. A common stipulation is that nominated people have 24 hours to comply or forfeit by way of a charitable financial donation.

ALS is a fatal disease where people lose muscle control, including the ability to speak, eat or even breathe. Life expectancy after being diagnosed is between 2-5 years and current treatment can only extend it by a few months.

The Ice Bucket Challenge saw people donate $7.3 overnight and total donations has reached a total of $22.9 million, 12 times the amount raised last year according to the ALS Association! Steven Spielberg, Justin Bieber and Bill Gates are among many celebrities pouring buckets of ice water over their heads and donating to fight Lou Gehrig’s disease, in a fundraising effort that has gone viral. Since June, several thousand people worldwide have recorded themselves getting drenched, then posted the stunt online and challenged others to do the same, or pledge USD 100 to ALS research. Many have done both, in an effort has raise millions of dollars for the ALS Association, which combats amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

We still have to spend certain amount of money for us to eat and drink clean water. But, how about those people who are homeless and live by asking for money or food? What if we offer them $100 as a prize if he defeats another homeless guy in an arm wrestling? Watch this social experiment done by Model Pranksters and lets you think of the real worth of money!

The guys behind the YouTube channel, ModelPrankstersTV, recently made another social experiment where they asked two homeless people to arm wrestle for a chance to win $100.

 Luckily enough, two homeless guys agreed to participate in there social experiment. The first man is Aaron, had ragged clothes and no money in his cup.And then after ten minutes of searching, they found the next participant named Robert.
 

The mechanics of the game was explained to the two participants, whoever wins the arm wrestle match wins the 100 bucks. The catch? Aaron and Robert had no idea that the loser will get a consolation price of $50. After the arm wrestle match, Arron won and got the $100. However, before they give the loser the $50, something so inspirational happened. Something that is unexpected.
Instead of keeping the whole $100 that can provide him food for few days, Arron gave away half of what he won to Robert. He selflessly and wholeheartedly helped the young man. 

Someone saw what happened and talked to the Pranksters. The guy said “The black guy showed love. They both won! We rarely see that! Courage, Love, Enthusiam. And guess what? They were both winners!”

Indeed, we rarely see that compassion and generosity with people nowadays. But even more surprising is that those people who have less give more.
As the quotation in the video says:
No matter how little you have, you can always find something to give.
No matter how few pennies we have in our pocket, the real worth of these is the way we use every single of these.

It was an unlucky day for a homeless man in the street, when suddenly someone interrupted him and asked him to borrow his bucket. What happens next will break you into tears.

Three German students surprise a homeless guy

   

From the beginning of the clip, the tagline reads, “We walk. We hurry. Isolated. Focused on ourselves. We forget the people around us.” Indeed, every so often, we only think of ourselves to the point of neglecting others, even our family. If we sometimes forget our family, what more are those strangers like a homeless man begging for money in the street?

The tagline continues: “Today, we change it.” Then the camera focused on a homeless man sitting on the side of the street. This man was approached by one of the three German students.
A young man asked the homeless man to borrow his bucket. At first, the homeless man was hesitant, but he later agreed and handed over his bucket.

 

 

The guy sat down on the street beside the homeless man, then started tapping the bucket. The homeless man said “not bad” for the guy’s simple performance on the bucket. The young man started to tap the bucket again, but put down his hat first. Immediately, a little kid dropped some money in the hat.
Few minutes later, another young man sat down on the other side of the homeless man and played his guitar while singing. Then, a young woman sat down beside this man and joined the two young men in singing while playing an egg shaker.

The three students gathered an audience out of the people walking in the street. Many people lend money in the hat.

After the three young students finished their performance, they got a round of applause from the passersby who watched them. They handed over the hat with money to the homeless man while saying, “Thanks for the bucket. Have a good day!”

Speechless, the man shakes the hand of the young man who borrowed his bucket. And another applause was heard from the background.

In the video, they produce another hat from the young woman’s bag and then they walked away.
This YouTube video that was uploaded by be japy e.V. has a caption: “In May of this year, we performed like this with more songs and WITHOUT a camera. We liked the message of what we were doing so we decided to turn it into a video in order to encourage others to possibly do the same.”

However, they hired an actor to take on the role of the homeless man since they did not want the idea of filming a distress person and putting it up on the internet.

Although the homeless man was just an actor, after all, the purpose of the video is what matters most.
No matter how busy we are with our everyday lives, we can always give few seconds from our time to help others, even just a simple prayer
